Well, here we are again,another month has flown right by and Ole Yeller here says it smells like Spring time.

We have had a very busy first quarter here at the shelter with close to 100 adoptions and donations. We have had six dog bites, with some in the serious range.
It is very important to make sure your animal is vaccinated in case of an accidental bite or nip to keep from a possible fine and jail time, or even loss of your pet. Also remember your dog tax is due each year by May 15, as per state and county ordinance.
A big thank you goes out to Abe Hopkins and his dad for making a new sign for our shelter, good job guys.
And a big thank you to the Irwins, Cecil, Joann,and Melissa, for buying our new dog bathtub through their generous donations.The dogs love it…I have’nt tried it yet, even if my wife does call me an ole dog, haha. Thanks again, people like them is what makes it worthwhile at the shelter.
