The Ohio County Community Foundation would like to remind potential scholarship applicants of the application deadline for the 2009 Future Generations Scholarship. Applications and required documents must be returned to the Foundation office at 591 Smart Drive by June 12, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.
The Future Generations Scholarship is available to all 2006 and later Rising Sun High School graduates that meet the scholarship criteria.  Scholarship criteria may be obtained by calling the Ohio County Community Foundation or by going to www.occfrisingsun.com.  This year the scholarship amount is $1,000 and will be paid in two semesters at $500 a semester.
Previous scholarship recipients that maintained the required grade point average and remained in good standing with the college/university are eligible to reapply for The Future Generations Scholarship up to the designated number of times specified on the scholarship criteria.  This scholarship must be renewed each year.
