RSUMC Mountain Mission Schedule

Next pick up date: Aug 31-Sept 2. Mountain Mission does not accept hangers, magazines, or encyclopedias. They do accept clothes, but REMEMBER gently used clothing. Contact Connie for drop off times: 438-4440 (H), 655-1664(C).

Ice Cream Social

The Ice Cream Social will be 1-4 p.m. on July 12 at the church. Homemade ice cream flavors are vanilla, strawberry, pineapple, butter pecan, and chocolate at 75 cents per dip. Baked items & carryouts available. Call ahead for pickup orders @ 438-4431. Profit will be divided between mission projects and John’s Island Work Trip.

4-H Fair

We will be manning the food booth at the 4-H Fair as a fundraiser. The 4-H Fair runs from July 10-17. When you’re at the fair, make sure you stop by for some good food and support the church at the same time. Our specialties include: BBQ with cole slaw, Walking Tacos, and Coney Dogs.

Vacation Bible School

United Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School will be held July 29 – 31. This year’s theme is “E.D.G.E. – Experience + Discover GOD Everywhere.” For more info contact Pastor Keith @ 438-4431. (Please call ahead for registrations.)

United Methodist Men’s Family Fun Night Pitch-in Dinner

The United Methodist Men has scheduled a Family Fun Night Pitch-in dinner for Sunday, August 30 at the church. The pitch-in dinner will start at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed at 6:00 p.m. of gospel bluegrass music by “Godspeed” from Northern Kentucky. Please join us as we fellowship together by enjoying good food and listening to good music. This will be a free-will offering concert.
