The Rising Sun America in Bloom Committee accepted a grant of $2500.00 from the Ohio County Community Foundation for the purposes of assisting the City of Rising Sun and the America in Bloom Committee meet its goals of helping the community get “in bloom”, conduct community surveys, and help host the visiting judges AIB judges.

Signs were also created for its weekly “Yard of the Week” decisions as well.

The America in Bloom Committee worked hard to create a blooming atmosphere in the city of Rising Sun and will be represented at the national AIB Conference in hershey, PA in October.
