Soldiers’ Signs Available for Their Families
The Historic Downtown Program would like to express the enjoyment it has gotten from honoring our current veterans. This has been a great project that could not have been done so well if not for the support given by the city for the magnificent signs. At this time, the signs are making their way to the soldiers’ families. The following are still in the Historic Downtown office (103 South Walnut): Michael Alford, Brandon Alwin, KC Gagnon, Cody Grace, Sam Huddleston, Ben Ramsey, Derek Reinhold, Chad Russell, Jake Ryle, Aaron Smith Jr., and Robert Vaughn. If you are a family member of one of these soldiers please come and get them at your earliest convenience. These signs are now the property of the family to be displayed however they wish.
Stunning pictures of the Veteran’s Tower and each individual sign were taken. They can be looked at and ordered at the Historic Downtown Program website . But most of all thank you goes out to the soldiers and their families for all they sacrifice for our freedom.
