The Ohio County Community Foundation would like to announce that Community/Junior College scholarship applications will be available on November 2nd.  This year the scholarship amount is $500 per scholarship cycle.  These are non-competitive scholarships.

The Community/Junior College Scholarship is open to all Ohio County residents who meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a current resident of Ohio County for at least one (1) year.
• Applicant must have obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants with previous college credits and current year high school graduates, must submit a copy of their most recent transcript.
• Applicant’s receiving a full – tuition scholarship are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship recipients may reapply for the Community/Junior College Scholarship each semester that it is available provided they meet the current year scholarship criteria.  Eligible recipients may receive the scholarship up to a maximum of six (6) semesters per student.

The Community/Junior College Scholarship applications will be due to the Foundation office at 591 Smart Drive on Friday, December 4th by 4:00 p.m.
