Ohio County Health Department Announces Flu Vaccination Clinics
Seasonal Vaccine, Nasal Mist, and H1N1 Vaccine will be available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last
Regina Crouch, RN, Ohio County Health Nurse, announces that there will be a series of flu vaccination clinics for Ohio County residents who are interested in getting the appropriate procedure.
Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinic
(the regular annual flu shot)
Monday November 9
3 pm to 7 pm
Rising Sun Church of Christ
430 Fifth Street
Children 6 to 35 months and Adults 18 and older
The Ohio County Health Department is expecting seasonal flu vaccine for children 36 months to 18 years but has not received it as yet.
H1N1 Nasal Mist Clinic
Tuesday November 10
3 pm to 7 pm
Rising Sun Church of Christ
430 Fifth Street
Ages 2 to 49 who are:
*not pregnant
*do not have certain health conditions
*living with or care for infants who are younger than 6 months
*a health care provider
H1N1 Vaccination
Thursday November 12
5 to 8 pm
Rising Sun Church of Christ
430 Fifth Street
This vaccination is suitable for:
*Pregnant women
*People who live with or care for infants under 6 months old
*children 6 to 35 months old
*Adults 18-24 years old
You should NOT get the shot if you have an allergy to eggs, if you have ever had a life-threatening allergic reaction to any does of regular flu vaccine, or if you have or have had Guillan-Barre Syndrome.
Please remember: if you do not meet any of the guidelines mentioned above, you will not receive a vaccine at this clinic
