Ohio River Sweep 2010 Rescheduled

The Ohio River Sweep scheduled for Saturday, June 19, was reschedule to Saturday, June 26 and starts at 9 a.m. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last, and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to meet in Rising Sun at Front Street and 1st Street, under the shelter by the boatdock.

The 6,000 horsepower “Hoosier State” visited Rising Sun for its official dedication.  Built in 2009, it is the newest addition to AEP River Operations.  The public was welcomed aboard for a tour, and the crew proudly showed off the Towboat.
